Violence in Fiction

Violence in life is never necesary or ar least not the "smart choice", but in stories it's what people are fully intertained by. In my opinion it's sad that we have fun with the failure or pain of others. In the story Fahrenheit 451 violence is serves the story because of all these mysteries happening.
This weekend I had planned to read, but somethings got in the way my bestfriend went missing Thursday night I right after school I went all over looking for him until two in the morning and had no luck. Saturday we started again the search at seven in the morning. He was safely found Saturday afternoon. I wasn't feeling very well because of everthing going on I slept for a bit, then I had to get up again to take care of my Godmother who is battling cancer. I had a very busy weekend therefore I didn't get to my reading.
The imagery in Fahrenheit 451 with the burning of the books portrayed as birds was my perspective applicable because the burning pages look as if they are wings of a bird falpping up and down.

Do strangers benefit?

Today I probably passed by more than 75 people and honestly greeting only about 5 at most. It's something that just feels uncomfortable especially with a stranger. I personally just smile at people know words just a smile, even if it's a stranger. Because I feel that a smile from someone you don't know, can change your mood at least a bit. I hang around with people who are very friendly and make conversations with strangers and I look up to them. I feels very nice when someone says, " Hello." It makes my attitude change.

A Fake Smile?

Have you ever seen people crying in the middle of class for a reason you are not aware of? I have and I suppose others have too. But when it happens it's akward, especially if we dont know or talk to the person. That akward moment where you look away cause you feel bad. But why not take action. Many people are thinking to kill themselves because they feel like knowone cares. Why aren't we the ones saying," What's wrong? Are you ok?" Why is it that we tend to just act like nothing is happening.  This Sunday I was walking to my Godmother's house and as I approched a bridge I saw a girl standing on the top of the bridge looking down I could hear her crying. I was unaware what to do. Why can't we be educated on things like this instead of learning a bunch of different things we dont need! Why not teach us how to help people feel less depressed? Or even just the fact of going up to people if another situation occurs again. When I got closer to rh...

The Pedestrian

The theme od the pedestrian is that we need ti be wary of technology. Bradbury get that message through the focus of technology taking control of us. The tone of the story is very serious trying to convince us of what our world has turned into. I believe that people are not seen walking anymore in 2018 because we are honestly lazy, we take the car even to go 2 blocks away. Its just the way society is changing and we all follow along. Self driving cars will only make it worse. Less people will be seen outside rhey will just put the direction and arrive without any hesitation. All this new technology will give teens more freedom. They will have less precaution on what they are doing. It will lead to more isolation and independence.

Imagine the Future

Mmm.... Have we ever thought of how this weather we are having will change in 50-100 years from now. At my location it's pooring right now. But I wonder how would weather change years from now. I personally think that our weather would become hotter. I dont know why but thats what I think. Also think back 5 years from today knowing is the same the trends nor the communication. Imagine how it would change 50 years from now.
